June 22., 1942 TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE STAFF ~ A thorough survey should at once be made of the towns, villages, roads (both main and secondary), terrain and approaches in each Town and a detailed plan, with assignment of Minute Men or squads, for the protection of same. Particular attention should be paid to flat-roofed, concrete or brick buildings commanding roods or approaches to such hamlets or. villages. A detailed study of Levy's "Guerrilla Warfare" (N.R.A. e5~) should be Illude and plans Illade in accordance therewith. A Range Officer of the proper qualifications should be appointed to handle all matters connected therewith and all firing should be done under his su)ervislon, or that ef 0 Small Arms In- structor.
