February 17, 1994
1. The meeting started at 7:30. Members present were: Bill Peters, Ralph Williams, Valerie Mar-
vin, Bob Bayley and John Stack. Harry Fagan and Bob Kassner were absent.
2. The Feb. 3 minutes were reviewed and accepted.
3. Congratulations were offered to Valerie Marvin on her award from the Suffolk County Bar As-
sociation. The award, called the Pro Bono Award was given to her and her associate for con-
tributing the greatest number of hours of pro Bono work.
4. Bob Bayley brought in the material on the Leadership Training Workshop on Preservation to
be held in Saratoga Springs this June. After reviewing the material all agreed we would not apply.
5. Ralph Williams filled us in on his trip to Winterthur Museum, in Delaware. The appointment
with Charles F. Hummel the author of With Hummer in Hand, became a victim of the Friday
snowstorm. May 5th has been set for the next try.
6. The list of all possible agenda items for the year was discussed. Many good ideas were dis-
cussed. Several needs were pointed out. Plans will be made to satisfy these needs. The chairman
will arrange to discuss our plans with the Supervisor. 1
7. Bob Bayley will bring a draft of the McIntosh review to the next meeting. He will also get the
tape from Ralph and make a summary to give to Valerie so that a typed copy can be made.
8. The next meeting is scheduled for March 17th.
