HomeMy WebLinkAbout11/15/1990 EI V`D MAR 12191 rm t%rk 90WOW SOUTHOLD TOWN LANDMARK PRESERVATION COMMISSION November 15, 1990 The Southold Town Landmark Preservation Commission met at Town Hall this date with four members present : John Stack, Ralph Williams, Joy Bear , and William Peters. The minutes of September, 1990 were read and approved The following houses were added to the Southold Town Register: Reeve-Wickham House Hallock Currie - Bell House Cleveland-Glover Frank Gagen Blacksmith Shop Pine Neck Barn Thomas Moore House Downs Carriage House Bayview Schoolhouse Treasure Exchange Horton Point Lighthouse The LPC slide program was reviewed and is now available for presentation requests. Working Meetings: The beam structure of the Webb House in Orient was studied . Modifications to the Webb House presently underway afforded the opportunity while floors and walls were exposed . Measurements of the Wickham Farmhouse and the Old Schoolhouse on the Cutchogue Village Green were taken to enable generation of accurate floor plans. Draft changes to Local Law #1 1983 were generated for review. The Book "Houses of Southold , the First 350 Years" has been submitted to the Preservation League of New York State for a 1991 Preservation League Award . Respectfully submitted , Joy Bear , Secretary
