NOV 12 2003 MINUTES Present were: John Stack, Sal Saporito, Larry Jungblut, Herb Adler Southold Town Clark The minutes of the previous meeting were approved. The application to enlarge a bedroom at the rear of the house at 425 King St., Orient was approved with the understanding that the addition as far as siding and windows is shown as conforming to the present building. We discussed the honoring of buildings that have been well preserved or restored in the Town of Southold. Recommended houses were the former Glenwood Lodge building in Mattituck, Doctor's House (Gary Laube) on Ackerly Pond Lane in Southold, the House on the Bedell,winery prop�,rty (owner Lynn), and the Chamber of Commerce for Love Lane. We feel the need to get a van and drive around the town to try to discover other worthy candidates. (I will look into what the Town can provide in the way of a vehicle.) (I also met Bill Thompson of Bedell at a meeting on Tuesday and mentioned what we are thinking of.) Joel had provided us with a preliminary draft of a brochure which we discussed briefly. For those who could not make the meeting, I am enclosing a copy of Joel's draft. We will go into this at our next meeting on December 8"' at 4:00pm. Herb Adler, Jr., Chairman
