Town Board Resolution'- John Stack and Erich Haesche's terms on the commission were extended for another two vears. 4. Status of Lester-Storrs House - The commission inspected this house. There are a lot of interesting features; however, it was felt from the information at hand, it doesn't meet the criteria of a designated land- mark. The commission felt the owner should take more responsibility of finding out the background by checking the property titles in Riverhead. There is a history here but it is not obvious. John Cronin suggested that a letter be written to the owner asking him to research and establish the personages associated with this house. A motion was made by John Cronin and seconded by Bob Kassner that a letter be written to the owner encouraging him to do further research. 4 were in favor and 3 were against. 5. Fort Corchaug - Deborah Winsor sent in the commission's response to the DEIS. Melissa Spiro felt the commission's response to the DEIS was very good. All responses will be sent to the owner. The owner will then give his replies to these letters to the Planning Board. -2- 6. Signage - Nancy Komendi is the only one who has asked and paid for a sign for her house.
