LANDMARK PRESERVATION COMMISSION MEETING
DECEMBER 21, 1999
MINUTES
Present were: John Greene, Ralph Williams, John Stack, Dick Boardman,
Herb Adler and Gordon Moore.
The Minutes of the November 22, 1999 meeting were accepted as read.
Herb Adler is' going into the Town Board meeting at 5:05 for the public
hearing on the proposed Landmark Preservation law revision.

House. Scott Russell spoke on tax incentives. (�,p
Dick Boardman reported on Mr. Poje's house - it has been demolished and
a new one is being built. He has applied for a variance for more living space
on that plot. It is a small piece of property. After the hearing with the
ZBA, the final decision is 270 of the plot can be used. No further increases
ever on this property.
John Greene received a call from Jim Grathwohl who said he could try
and get someone to speak about S.P.L. I .A.
The Commission discussed having some educational sessions with the people
in Orient. Ralph felt it would be better to have several smaller group
sessions. John Greene will invite Gerri Woodhouse to our next meeting.
Regarding the Doctor's House on Lower Road in Southold - the owner is
very interested in restoring it.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 18, 2000 at 4:00 p.m.
