Voting will take place from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m.at the Mattituck Park District Office,Veterans Memorial Park, 11280 Peconic Bay Boulevard, Mattituck, New York, for the purpose of voting on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2019. Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained at the same location on Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The absentee ballot application must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the vote and meeting if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter; or the day before such vote and meeting if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter or his agent. The ballot itself must either be delivered to the Mattituck Park District no later than the close of polls on the day of the vote, or postmarked by a governmental postal service not later than the day before the vote and received no later than the 7th day after the vote. Every resident who shall have resided in the Mattituck Park District for a period of thirty(30)days next preceding the election, and whose name and address is within the boundaries of the Mattituck Park District as set forth on the Suffolk County Board of Elections voter registration listing, shall be qualified to vote.
