Jim mentioned that a presentation of both a historical plaque and certificate was given at the Whitaker House on December 16. Jim gave an update on the application for CLG status and mentioned that there is a question on the wording in the present law with regards to the defi- nition on how landmarks are designated. An update on the "Building Permit' brochure was discussed and forwarded to Luc Schlager for further processing. Pre-permit application consultations were held with Barbara Schnitzler regard- ing an addition to the "Old Harbor House" in New Suffolk and window modifi- cations with Richard and Althea Travis on the "Cleasves-Kuester House in Laurel.
