Chairman's Comments A. Thievery at-old barn in Cutchogue B. Town Clerk's Office support by Linda Cooper C. Annual trip to Fishers Island with Town Board—August 8 (Weds.) D. Letter to Editor of Suffolk Times responding to Guest Spot on Albertson- Cohen House E. Requests for info on applying for landmark status incl. UHommedieu house (tentative) and Scopaz residence and former Gagen house(all in Southold) F. Requested assistance from Assemblyman Marc Alessi's office on permission required and possible funding for restoring Ben Franklin mile markers along State Route 25 G. Architectural Review Commission meeting on July 26 IV. Old Business/Committee Updates A. Continued feedback and follow-up from January 25 informational meeting: • Scott Russell's comments on meeting with Orient"dissidents" group; • proposed/draft letter and process (meeting, etc.)to advise those requesting "de-landmarking"from Orient National Historic District • Kieran Corcoran's suggestions on revising Town Code to address"de- landmarking" requests • Responses to other inquiries i.e. letters, e-mails, etc. following January 25 information meeting B. Feedback on Lloyd Kalin (Orient) application for replacement windows and siding C. Historic Preservation Commission Handbook Based on one from Wethersfield, CT; appoint committee to edit one for Southold Town D. 4:00 p,m. - Meeting with Merle Kramer, architect, on changes we suggested on alterations to Stein house at 145 Skipper's Lane, Orient. V. New Business A. New applications, requests for information, etc.— Damon B. Budget submission for FY2008—by July 13; review FY 2007 budget C.
