· Technical - Ron and Mel
· Education and Outreach, Barbara
· PR/Communications - Discuss placing an Infomercial in ST and
holding a Community Info Forum about CLG (in Spring); Explore
entering a float in the July 4 parade in Southold; Need a.project
chair for each project -Jim
· Preservation Practices/CLG; March 17 (regular meeting) is new date for
meeting with Julian Adams (SHPO) with lunch; invite Supervisor, TB
members and Historical society reps, draft meeting agenda, lunch plans,
etc.- Jamie
· New Designations and Awards - Mel
· Heritage Tourism Initiative- Progress on walking/driving tours -
$outhold Historical Society to do on a contractual basis ? - Ron
· Code Review and Updates- Ron and DamOn
B. Update on application of Orient Wharf Co. for repairs (No action last
meeting)
C. Follow-up on Woodhouse application for alterations to house in Orient (?)
D. Molds for house markers/plaques returned; 25 new markers to be
ordered; Discuss presentation to previous awardees - Damon/Mel
E. Inventory and restoration plan for Ben Franklin markers-Damon
F. Application of M/Mrs. Joseph {Solder in Mattituck approved and sent to
Town Board; presentation of plaque to be scheduled following Board
approval (consider including five others previously approved but
plaques never presented) - Mel
G. - Met with Blake Goble, architect for Elizabeth Peyton, owner of
residence at 1 g5 Village Lane, Orient, for an addition to an existing
dwelling. Consider visiting site.
