Opening:
The meeting of the Agricultural Advisory Committee was called to order at 7:00 pm on
November 28, 2018 in the Southold Town Hall conference room.
Minutes and Administration:
• Tabled meeting minutes of November 14, 2018.
o Motion made by Chris Baiz, seconded by Doug Cooper to table the Agricultural
Advisory meeting minutes of November 14, 2018. All in favor, motion carried.
• Chris Baiz will reconfirm the Agricultural Advisory Committee's position in the
Town Board Work Session of December 4, 2018.
Next Meeting:
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the
Southold Town Hall Conference room.
Review Proposed Acquisition of Development Rights:
• No applications submitted to the committee from the Town Board or Land Preservation.
Proposed Agricultural Revisions to Town Code:
Review of Chapter 280— Permitted Uses AC to R-80 for bullet point presentation to the
Town Board for the work session scheduled for Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
• Discussion of On-Farm Processing.
• Discussion of On-Farm Direct Marketing.
• Agricultural Bulk Schedule.
• Modification and review of Definitions.
Proposed review of the Agricultural Chapter of the Town's Comprehensive Plan.
• Review 2012 Draft of the comprehensive plan.

Review of Agricultural related Site Plan Applications/Sub-Divisions:
• No applications submitted to the committee for review.
Review Proposed zoning changes in Agricultural Districts:
• No proposed zoning changes submitted to the committee.
Local, County, State and Federal Legislation related to Agriculture:
• No current Legislation reviewed.
Review Applications for structures related to Agriculture on parcels with Town /County
owned development rights.
• Confirmation of letter submitted to Planning on Wednesday, November 14, 2018
recommending approval of a building permit for the Jakubiuk Agricultural Barn
SCTM# 1000-55-1-8.3.
New Business:
• Discussion on water issues including average rainfall, water studies, and NOA stations.
Adjournment:
Motion to adjourn at 8:54 pm by Chris Baiz seconded by John Sepenoski Jr.
Motion carried, all in favor.
