Supin & Wf Tenant: Yvonne Lodes Upon receipt of an application for a Pre -Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this one story framed dwelling. I was admitted to building by Mr. Lodes and began inspection at approximately 9:40 A.M. The Building consists of a living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. A split level platform in open stairway to partial cellar and basement provides main entrance to building. The following violations of The Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York, were found: Entrance, secondary from finished basement area - no means of controlling light in room when entering. Article 52-56 B.2. Stairway, no means of controlling light for safe ascent or descent. Article II, Section 52-26, B.3. Finished room in cellar being used for a bedroom - insufficient light and ventilation - insufficient head -room (6'-8") - cellar not permitted to be used for habitable space. Article II, Section 52-23 D - Article II, Section 52-24 C 1-3-4. (Chapter 100 Zoning Ordinance Article I, Section 100-13 Floor Area Livable). Utility Section of Cellar - Water Pump, electrical hookup to motor conductor requires connector, Article V, Section 52-56 A-1. Laundry Washing Machine drains directly into cessp— o�-side of house trap, requires separate water seal. House trap requires fresh air ventand seal between cesspool and water seal of house trap. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal—(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non -conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Dote of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in- formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
