Located: Property Off Anchor Lane, Southold. SCTM# 1000-71-2-27. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions are INCONSISTENT with the Policy Standards (Policy 6.3) and therefore is INCONSISTENT with LWRP. 6.3 Protect and restore tidal and freshwater wetlands. A. Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the Southold Town Board of Trustees laws and regulations for all Andros Patent and other lands under their jurisdiction. 1. Comply with Trustee regulations and recommendations as set forth in Trustee permit conditions. Although it is recognized that the proposed actions are presented as new construction, permits for the existing bulkhead and dock structures could not be located within Town records. They were constructed without Board review and a Wetland Permit. The construction of a non-treated wood walkway along the landward edge of new bulkhead and removal of approximately 15 cubic yards of fill from landward side of bulkhead prior to its relocation is recommended as CONSISTENT. In the event the action is approved the following is recommended to further Policy 6. 1. Require turbidity controls in compliance with Chapter 275. The 5' wide easement is not shown to extend over this parcel. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. SCTM# 1000-71-2-27 Jeff, Regarding the above referenced application, the Board has started their review and determined that the application is incomplete at this time for the following reasons: 1. The project is to replace existing bulkheading, attached to said bulkheading you are proposing a cantilevered platform to new ramp to a new floating dock. 2. When applying for a dock/floating dock please submit updated plans showing N.Y.S. licensed professional water depths at low tide around the floating dock; distance/length of the body of water across the canal to ensure the 1/3 width rule; size of the vessel(s) being kept at the floating dock; details/dimensions of new docking facility (any fixed structures, support piles, ramp and floating dock); distances between the docks that abut the floating dock; add neighboring floating dock structures to plan (if not already depicted) to show proposed floating dock length out into the water. 3. The Trustees have noted that there is existing decking along the areas of the proposed bulkhead replacement and are inquiring if any/all of the decking will be affected (removed and/or replaced) during construction. As there are no permits this office can find on the structures along the water, it is requested that the dimensions of the decking be submitted to include them in the permitting process. 4. Please update the application where necessary to include this email request. Upon submission of the requested revisions, the Board will again review your application for completeness. 56"&aa e"(1rea Senior Clerk Typist Town of Southold Board of Trustees 631-765-1892 i jj1Xr..
