Stukas Tenant, Edna Avent Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this dwelling at the above captioned premises. I was admitted to the building by Mr. Avent and began the inspection at approximately 3:30 P.M. The building is a one story, wood frame structure constructed on a cement block foundation. The ground floor contains an enclosed porch, provides front entry to dwelling, living room, kitchen, with a side entry, a full bathroom and two bedrooms. Heat is furnished to building from a gas fired warm air furnace with outlet cut into living room floor approximately centrally located within the building. Hot water is furnished to all plumbing fixtures within the dwelling from the gas fired hot water heater located in the partial cellar. The balance of the building~s foundation is a slab. The following violation of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Code of the Town of Southold, New York, was found: Bedroom - one window 1 foot by 3 feet, awning type. This window is located approximately 5 foot 6 inches to the bottom of the sash opening from the floor, and is not suitable for emergency egress. The window is undersized in area for natural light and ventilation based on the square foot area of the room. Article II, Section 52-24 C. 1 and 3. Section 52-28 B (New York State Construction Code, Section A, 206-2 b.
