COUNTY OF SUFFOLK: PRISCILLA TANDY STEELE, being duly sworn, deposes and says: I am the owner of the premises located at Main Road, Mattituck, New York, which are the subject of this application for a pre- existing Certificate of Occupancy. In the early 1800's the easterly portion of my house was moved from Maratooka Road, Mattituck, New York, to its present location. In the late 1800's the westerly portion of the house was constructed as an addition to the easterly portion. In 1964 Toppy Jones obtained a building permit from the Town of Southold (Building Permit No. 2995) and constructed an addition to be used as a living room for the easterly portion of the house. My aunt, Ritie Tandy, purchased the house in the 1940's at which time it was already being used as a two-family house. Since that time it has continued to be used as a two-family house. Presently, my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Tandy, reside in the apartment upstairs, and I reside in the apartment downstairs. This affidavit is made for the purpose of obtaining a pre- existing Certificate of Occupancy for a two-family house from the Building Department of the Town of Southold.
