During construction, it was discovered that the proposed stair needed to be altered in order to maintain 3 feet of separation from grade on the bluff, which is a condition of the existing NYSDEC permit for the stair. Please find enclosed: • One (1) permit amendment fee, • Three (3) sets of proposed beach stair plans, revised 1/10/20. Please note the following changes made during construction to meet the NYSDEC requirement: • Overall dimension of the staircase now 90'-9 3/" long X 4'-4" wide, original Trustee permitted plans called for an overall dimension of 83' long X 4'-7"wide. • The bottom of the staircase has moved approximately 5ft landward, further away from the tidal wetland line. • The number of stair landings has changed from three (3) to five (5). • The top stair landing dimension has changed from 22'-11" long X 4'-7"wide to 12'-3 W long X 4'-4"wide. • Original Trustee permitted plans proposed two (2) 8' long X 4'-7" wide intermediate landings.
