She stated that she has reached out to the neighbors to get their approval and advised them that the streets will not be totally closed except for brief shoots. A Your hours of operation are at least 12-14 hours per day do you need police presence there the whole time? She states that need at least one officer there the whole time they are shooting. I advised her that to fill this much of a time slot we would probably need to have officers on overtime fill the post, she stated that they will pay that price. ➢ She asked if I would approve their vehicles and crew to use the Kenny's Beach parking lot. I stated that I would have no objection to this as they get little use this time of the year. I advised her that the Town still as to give her permission on her application. I am hoping I can fill these time slots with overtime during this period, it's during the week, so will probably be able to. If the Town approves,we should be able to make it work. I also advised her it might help if she contact John Betsch for the Homeowners Association to have them on their side. He would like more details about your plans for that, also he wanted to know if you had notified the area residents of possible closures etc. He would also like more information about the temporary gate you mentioned, is this for the movie itself or is it for traffic control? I'm not sure what she means be installing a temporary gate on Leeton and whether that is for the shoot or it is meant to control traffic. This would obviously involve assigning at least one officer to this shoot for traffic control and that could work out to be app. $75/hr per officer depending on availability and whether overtime is incurred. I know we need to hand a check for $loo as well but wanted you to look over this preliminary permit application before I handed in a hard copy. We are still going over the specific homes we will use for filming but they are all in this area and will all take place (both interior and exterior) on the mentioned streets. I will update as soon as I get the exact addresses but since we are approx a month out I wanted to get it in. I look forward to hearing from you soon and to working with you! I could speak to the Chief directly if that would be easier but here are a few answers to your questions: Right now we are in touch with: Kenney's Dr.- 397o and 3735 as well as Elbow East (Still speaking with Billy about logistics) Leeton Dr -895, 1895, 1580, 1025, 1505, 225, 1500 (We've handed out flyers to every home in the area but these are the residents who contacted us) Lake Dr.- 62o, 625, 2045, 1655 (and a couple of others) We are still going over exactly how long we would need in each area-we will be there on Tuesday if the Chief or someone from his department wants to meet with us to discuss plans. The gate is temporary and would be for filming purposes-we could re-route traffic to enter Leeton from Lake Dr rather than Kenney's Dr. Understood about Police overtime- of course we would pay any additional costs-we definitely want a police presence when we are there on the streets to help. The residents seem excited to have us- I hope you will be too. Please give the Chief my info so we can be in touch. Thanks again for everything!
