Q✓ Please check if your planning unit has an approved Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan and there have been no program changes. If you have had any changes to your local laws governing recycling, msw and enforcement of solid waste/source separation/recycling laws please describe. Copy(s)of any new law(s)appended 0 16. There are many issues that can account for program differences resulting in variations of recycling rates. If you would like, provide an explanation below that characterizes your planning unit. This will help us to provide more information about planning units than just a recycling rate. The Town of Southold maintains a yard waste compost facility that processes virtually 100%of incoming yard waste into woodchips, mulch, and compost which is either given away(under the Town's 500 Ib/person"free mulch"program),sold,or otherwise used by the Town. This is reflected in the yard waste recycling figures. If there is not enough room on page 1 or on any of the other pages, please answer on a separate 8 W x 11"sheet. Use the number corresponding to the question when answering. Page 2 of 17 FORM A RECYCLING REPORT for the calendar year 2002 Report only outgoing and marketed materials, not incoming.
