VARIANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) produce hardship because practical difficulties or unnecessary SEE REVERSE (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) chan~e the character of the district because (would not) SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variauee ( ) be ~ranted ( ) be denied and that the previous deciskms of the Bnildin~ Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) ha reversed. After investigation and inspection the Board find~ that applicant requests permission to expand existing non-conforming use more than 50% of existing capacity on premises located on the south side of Traveler Street, Southold, New York. The Board agrees with the reasoning of the applicant. The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance would produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship~ the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use districtl and the variance will not change the character of the neighborhood, and will observe the spirit of the Ordinance. THEREFORE IT WAS RESOLVED, David A. Rothman, Main Road, Southold, New York, be GRANTED permission to expand existing non-conforming use more than 50% bf~eXisting capacity on premises locsted on the ~Outh side bf Traveler Street, Southold, New York, as applied for, subject, to the. following conditions,. 1. That~the.proposed~building be lo~ated~3 feet from the westerly side line, and~25 feet from the property line. 2. That the size of the building sh~ll be 30' x 60'. 3. That the doors shall be placed either on the southerly or the easterly side of the building. 4. This permission is granted until Julyl, 1976 without prejudice to future appllcatmon .
