Smith TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: On the above referenced property there are two buildings -- a house and a barn. I hereby certify that the house is in reasonable repair and has been occupied continuously since I acquired the property in 1967. The barn is also in reasonable repair and has been occupied 70% of the time for the storage of agricultural products and equipment. It is my understanding that these buildings were in existence prior to the establishment of the building code and, therefore, should qualify for Certificates of Occupancy as preexisting dwellings.
