DAUKAS, residing at 120 Boulder Circle, Glastonbury, Connecticut 06033, being duly sworn, deposes and says: That I am a niece of MARTHA B. SHORT, the owner of premises located at (No #) Peconic Bay Blvd., Laurel, New York, Suffolk County Tax Map #1000-128.00-03.00-016.000, as shown on the enclosed survey, who died a resident of Suffolk County on 5/6/88, seized and possessed of the foregoing premises. MARTHA B. SHORT and her sister, MARIE J. BUHSEN purchased the residence in 1950 from William H. Wertenberg, shortly thereafter they constructed the shed in the rear of the property. From the time of purchase of the property, deponent has visited the property at least once a year and states that no further alterations or improvements were made to the premises after April, 1957 that would require a Certificate of Occupancy. I make this affidavit to the Town of Southold for a Certificate of Pre-Existing Use for the residence and shed.
