To All Parties concerned:
As per mandate required by Southold Town we are notifying our neighbors that we need to
replace our existing garage, which is literally ready to fall down. The new garage will be built
with a 15 foot setback as required by Southold Town, to an existing fence located on the east
end of the property adjacent to Dr Solomon's property. We will also remove an accessory
building that we have used for storage that is next to the existing garage, which will also be
removed. We believe this will improve the aesthetics of the property and create a long term
solution for our situation. Enclosures will include the Legal Notice indicating a public hearing
and our Survey showing the new construction area as required by Southold Town. Thank you
for your consideration with regard to this matter.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law and Town Code
Chapter 280 (Zoning), Town of Southold, the following public hearing will be held by the
SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS at the Town Hall, 53095 Main Road,
Southold, New York 11971-0959, on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2018.
10:15 A.M. - DOROTHY AND RAYMOND RAYNOR #7207 — Request for a Variance from
Article IV, Section 280-17A and the Building Inspector's May 16, 2018, Notice of
Disapproval based on an application for a building permit to construct an accessory
garage at; 1) garage does not constitute a permitted principle use on a residential parcel;
at: 1175 Home Pike, Mattituck, NY. SCTM#1000-114-1-3.3.
The Board of Appeals will hear all persons, or their representatives, desiring to be heard
at each hearing, and/or desiring to submit written statements before the conclusion of
each hearing. Each hearing will not start earlier than designated above. Files are
available for review during regular business hours and prior to the day of the hearing. If
