Open Sealed Bids for Aldrich Lane Turf Management Services 2. Mattituck Yacht Club Parking Lot— Review L.K. McLean's Proposal for specifications for repaving and restriping RESOLUTIONS Resolution 2018-54 awarding the contract to for turf management services at Aldrich Lane for fields la and 1 b and/or outside the fence and further authorizes the Chairperson to execute a contract with , subject to the approval of Legal Counsel Resolution 2018-55 retaining L.K. McLean Associates, P.C. for engineering services to prepare specifications for the repaving and restriping project at Mattituck Yacht Club PUBLIC COMMENTS MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES APRIL 20, 2018 RECEIVED Attendance Doris McGreevy, Chairperson SEP 2 4 2086 Nicholas Deegan, Commissioner Gerard Goehringer, Commissioner Southold Town work David Prokop, Legal Counsel Lydia Tortora, Clerk CALL TO ORDER D. McGreevy called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. Opened Sealed Bids for Aldrich Lane Turf Management Services and three bids were received as follows: 1. East End Golf Associates—Visits $7,000, Mowing $12,500, Fertilizer Application $18,500, for a total bid of$38,000 2. Fine Care Landscaping, Inc. - $5,750 for 25 cuts, 2 fields, $19,050 for 7 fertilizer applications, aeration is extra for a total bid of$24,800 3. Laynez Landscaping, Inc. — Fertilizer applications $12,500, fungus treatment $600, 25 cuts $7,500, equipment maintenance and field checked twice per week at no charge for a total bid of$19,800 The Commissioners discussed managerial services and lawn programs submitted by each bidder and costs were compared. The bid was awarded to Laynez Landscaping, Inc. because they provided the most managerial field services and lawn program within the Park District's monetary budget constraints. This bid 'award is contingent on bidder submitting proper contractual requirements. RESOLUTIONS None There being no further business to come before the Board, motion by D. McGreevy, seconded by G. Goehringer, all in favor and motion carried to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m.
