Upon request for pre-existing certificate of occupancy,
I made an inspection of this one story framed dwelling; I picked
up the key from Donald Sayre at the Penny Lumber yard, Greenport,
began inspection at aproximately 1:50 PM.
The building is constructed on a cemment block foundation,
with full cellar, it contains two bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen,
living room and dining room. Heat is furnished by an oil fired
warm air furnace located in the cellar with heat outlet located in
the floor between the living room and dining room. There are enclosed
porches on the front and rear of the dwelling to protect enterances
to the living areas
The following violations of the housing code, Chap. 52 of
the Code of The Town of Southold were found -
Bathroom: Ceiling light fixture, faulty pull chain swithch 52/56/A-1
Cellar: Stairway from ground floor(kitchen)- handrail removed
from open side, 52/27/B
Accessory structure consists of detached one car garage
facing Bailey Ave and five (5) foot high chain link fence partially
enclosing the property.
Building and grounds are in good condition.
Inspection was completed aproximately 2:15 PM, and key was
returned to Donald Sayre.
