Nicholas Krupski. The Board of Trustees determined that the trees may be removed at this time. No permit will be required in order to remove this tree. Please make sure that the contractor you employ to remove the trees is in possession of a Southold Town Coastal Contractor's license. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. Town of Southold JUN 1 2018 Board of Trustees I P.O. Box 1179 �-- S Southold,NY 11971 Dear Trustees: I recently purchased a home and property located at 1300 Broadwaters Road in Cutchogue, New York. I am writing to ask permission to remove three trees from the property. Two of the trees are white pines over 30 feet in height and are within a few feet of my house and less than 15 feet from my neighbor's house to the southwest. The third tree is a cedar tree located in my backyard. The cedar tree is located approximately 100 feet from the nearest tidal wetland area. On June 11, 2018, Jesse Raymond of Raymond Brothers Tree Service in Yaphank came to the property to examine the trees. Mr. Raymond opined that the two white pine trees near my house are dead or mostly dead and are in danger of falling during high winds. If these trees fell on my neighbor's property or mine, they could possibly cause serious property damage and injuries. The cedar tree in the backyard appears to also be partially dead and is missing a majority of its branches. It too appears to be in danger of falling during severe inclement weather. Accordingly, I seek to have all three trees removed as soon as possible. You hereby have permission to enter my property to examine the trees, so long as you provide me with notice at the telephone number above before entering the property.
