Upon request of Gary Olsen, Attorney, Main Road, Mattituck,
for a Pre -Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an in-
spection of this one story framed dwelling. I admitted
myself to building with key left on premises and began
inspection at approximately 3:35 P.M.
The building contains three bedrooms, living, and dining
room, kitchen, and bathroom. Heat is furnished to all rooms
from an oil fired warm air furnace located in trench dug into
crawl space of cement block foundation.
The following violations of The Housing Code, Chapter
52, Town of Southold, were noted:
Entrances-, south side and northwest, no means of
controlling light at point of entry.
Article V, Sec. 52-56 B.2.
Bedrooms, northeast part of building- lamp cord
outlet on baseboard. Article V, Sec.
52-56 A.l.
There are two accessory buildings on premises - a metal
utility shed in rear yard approximately
eight inches inside property line, and
wood framed building located in front
yard. An open lean-to was added to the
north side of this building within approxi-
mately one foot of property line. These
structures violate Chapter 100, Zoning
Ordinance, Town of Southold. Article III,
Sec. 100-32 B. requires that accessory
structures be located not closer than
three feet to property line.
Inspection completed at approximately 4:
its previous location on premises.
