By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (v*ould) (would not) produce practical hardship because REVERSE difficulties or unnecessary (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use distric~ because SE-~ REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (woUld) change the character of the district because SEE REVERSE (would not) and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and Justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed. THEREFORE IT WAS RESOLVED George B,ird, L~p~ons Point Road, Mattituck, New York, be GRA~TED permission to conduct an auction sale on February 24, 1973 on property of Edward Charnews, south side of Main Road, Peconic, New York, subject to the conditions of Resolution of the $outhold Town Board of Appeals dated June 15, 1972, as follows: 1. Permission is for a one day auction sale to be held on a specific date. e Applicant mst provide someone to supervise parking at the auction sale to prevent the blocking of neighbors' driveways.
