Box 695 East Marion, NY 11939 RE: Robert T. Bayley, SCTM #1000-87-1-21 Dear Mr. Bayley: As per our conversations of Tuesday, February 13, 1990 during Trustees field inspection on the site of your property at SCTM #1000-87-1-21, the Trustees would want the marsh area on your property preserved in perpetuity. The simplest way to proceed with your application to the Planning/Zoning Boards would be to have your surveyor mark the uplandmost edge of the phragmites around the marshy area on the map. The landward limit of the marsh is clearly seen to end at the two large cedar trees we pointed out to you. Once your surveyor has placed these cedar trees and the marsh fringe on the map you may use this letter and surveyors maps before the other agencies. Should you require any additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact this office. Very truly yours, t r11. ., ohn M. I am the owner of a wooded lot in Southold with an existing two bedroom year round house. I have owned the property since 1975. The property is located on Peconic Day and it is reached by driving nearly to the end of South Harbor Road, turning left onto a dirt road known as Old Wood Path and driving about a mile along this dirt road to the property driveway. My intention is to subdivide the property into two lots , each with the required 80,000 square feet of area. The present property contains 3 .9 acres or about 170, 000 square feet. Before I can proceed with further map (survey) updating I would like to request that the Trustees visit the property to ascertain if a wet area identified as "swampy area" on ny survey should be "flagged" as a wetlands area and consequently subtracted from my total acreage which can be counted for subdivision purposes. I would be happy to meet you at a date and time of your convienience in order to direct you to the "swampy area" . A copy of my survey is enclosed_ Si 1y, obert T. Bayley , / '1 U
