Unoccupied Upon receipt of an application for a Pre -Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this one and one-half story wood framed dwelling. I was admitted to building by George Wetmore Realtor, Main Road, Greenport, New York, who accompanied me during this inspection that began at approximately 2:00 P.M. First floor has a living room, bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, dining room and front entry hall. Second floor has two bedrooms and a half bathroom. Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil fired forced warm air furnace located in full cellar of building's cement block foundation. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Code of the Town of Southold, New York, were found: Second floor - ceiling above top stair landing, paint is peeling from wood trim, wood is moist and floor below was wet from apparent leak in roof, Article III, Section 52-31 C. Entry - front door, no means of controlling light in room at point of entry, Article V, Section 52-56 A 1. Electrical - in cellar, open junction box on south wall, connection for underground wire for pole lamp. Wall outlet on north wall requires plate. Light switch on north wall east of exterior cellar stairs requires plate, Article V, Section 52-56 A 1. Stairway - interior from first floor to cellar, open on two sides, Article III, Section 52-27 B. Inspection completed at ap oximately 2:20 P.M. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in triplicate to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal—(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non -conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" fond uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in- formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
