After investigation and inspection the Board finds that
applicant requests permission to erect side wall sign on the
northwest side of Main Road (Arshamomaque) Greenport, New
York. The findings of the Board are that the applicant does
not have a front wall sign and a side wall sign is needed to
indicate the entrance to the Bar. The Board agrees with the
reasoning of the applicant.
The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare
and justice will be served and the legally established or
permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining use
districts will not be permanently or substantially injured
and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed.
THEREFORE IT WAS RESOLVED, Nicholas and Patricia Drossos,
Main Road, (Arshamomaque) Greenport, New York be GRANTED
permission to erect side wall sign in lieu of a front wall
sign on the northwest side of Main Road, (Arshamomaque)
Greenport, New York as applied for, subject to the following
conditions:
1. That this sign is subject to all rules and regulations
governing signs in the Town of Southold.
That this permission is subject to applicant paying
whatever charges are unpaid to the Building Department
on this sign and other signs.

APPLICATION FOR BUILDING PERMIT
INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted in triplicate to the Building
Inspector, with 3 sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets o~
areas, and giving a detailed description of layout ofproperty must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this application.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.

We do not find in our records where you
have paid the ptrmit fee for your t'off premises" directional sign
at Chappel Lane and North Road (CR27)$ Also we do not find in our
records where you got a permit for the enlargement of the ground
sign (arrow & lettering) in front of the restaurant; Also we do
not find any permit or special exception for the side wall sign
(illuminated steerhead with lettering) on your north side wall.
These violations have been brought to your attention some time
ago and to date no effort to correct them has been made.
You are hereby ordered to correct the above violations by June
17, 197~.
