Location of property: Fleetwood Road, Cutchogue, New York, bounded north by Fleetwood Road; east by Fleetwood Road; south by E. Hansen; west by H. Meyer. Fee paid $15.00. 2. VARIANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance (would) (would not) produce practical hardship because SEE REVERSE difficulties or unnecessary (b) The hardship created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) change the character of the district because (would not) SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. SE . REVERSe. 3 ROV£D ZONING BOAR OP FORM ZB4 · ' ' ' '' Marjor~.e McDermett. Secretary ) be granted ( ) be denied and After investigation and inspection the Board finds that applicant requests permission to use existing structure for additional living space with insufficient side yard located on Fleetwood Road, Cutchogue, New York. The findings of the Board are that applicant is in possession of two buildings, a garage and a house. The size of the house is approximately 480 sq. ft. Applicant proposes to combine the house and garage without altering the dimensions of either building and connect them with a breezeway. He also proposes to raise the garage so as to have a bedroom on the second floor and three small bedrooms on the first floor. This proposal will not change the present reduced side yard. The Board agrees with the reasoning of the applicant. The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance would produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship; the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district; and the variance will not change the character of the neighborhood, and will observe the spirit of the Ordinance. THEREFORE IT W~S RESOLVED, Paul and Michele Cusumano, Fleetwood Road, Cutchogue, New York, be GRANTED permission to use existing structure for additional living space with insufficient side yard on property located on Fleetwood Road, Cutchogue, New York, as applied for.
