APP VE
]~aiimaa ~o[-App~a[Ir- Marjorie McDermott, Secretary
After investigation and inspection the Board finds
that applicant requests permission to construct private
garage in front yard area on the south side of Sandy
Beach Road, Greenport. The Board finds that the rear
yard is on the waterfront and there is no access available.
The Board agrees with the reasoning of the applicant.
The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance
would produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship;
the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all
properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property
and in the same use district; and the variance will not
change the character of the neighborhood, and will observe
the spirit of the Ordinance.
THEREFORE IT WAS RESOLVED, Hener B. Agnew, 200 Arnold
Avenue, W. Babylon, New York, be GRANTED permission to con-
struct private garage in front yard area, on the south side
of Sandy Beach Road, Greenport, New York, as applied for,
subject to the following conditions:
That the combination garage-carport-workshop shall be
no closer than 5 feet to the southerly line of the
p~operty, and no closer than 90 feet to Sandy Beach
Road.
Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Messrs: Gillispie, Bergen,
Grigonis, Hulse.
