REASON FOR APPEAL
A Variance to Section 280A Subsection 3
A Variance to the Zoning Ordinance
is requested for the reason that applicants are forced to move their residence
from lot No. 18~ to lot No. 17 and asked that 17 and 18 be considered
as one lot so .that the guest house may remain on lot~7~A survey
9f the lots is attached, and the proposed locations off, the residence
and the guest house are marked. ~
~:~z1!~ ZBl (Continue on other side)
REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT AP?L[CATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practica]difficu~tiesorunneces-
sary HARDSHJPbecause lot No. 17 is a small lot and could not &ccormmodate
the residence with a noz-mal setback. Haywaters Road in this area is
nonexistent and is not used~ As an owner on both sides~ appLican~
owns the fee to the paper stree%o
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by o][ properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because the section is at the extreme
end of Fisherman's Beach with only one adjoining residence°
3. The Variance would observe the spiri¢ of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because the area would remain essentially the
s amc.
