Rand Occupied: Owner Upon receipt of an application for a Pre -Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this one and one-half story dwelling. I was admitted to building by Mr. Rand who accompanied me during this inspection that began at approximately 9:55 A.M. The building is a wood framed structure with stocco siding and is constructed on a rubble stone and motar foundation. First floor consists of a kitchen, breakfast room, enclosed porch, laundry room, dining room, living room with fireplace, and a half bathroom. Three rooms over attached two -car garage formerly used for doctor's office contains kitchen facilities and a full bathroom. This apart- ment has its own entry from garage. Second floor contains five bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Heat is furnished to all rooms on first floor and second floor. An oil fired warm air furnace lo- cated in east end of cellar supplies heat to second floor rooms and living room on first floor. An oil fired steam and hot water furnace located in west end of cellar furnishes heat to balance of rooms in building including enclosed porch. Accessory buildings on west end of property include a one -car garage and a barn; these buildings are of wood frame construction. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York, were found: Sewage system - no house trap, Article V, Section 52-51 C 1. Electrical junction box - furnace room, west end of cellar, requires plate, Article V, Section 52-56 A 1. Gas cooking range - no shut off valve at unit, Article V, Section 52-52 B 2. Second living unit, apartment over garage, violation of Chapter 100, Zoning Ordinance, Article II, Section 100-30 A 1. Inspection completed at apprr�o mately.10:10 A.M. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal—(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa- tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non -conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of peoperty showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3.
