) be denied and
After investigation and inspection, the Board finds that
the applicant requests permission to divide property with insuffi-
cient width and area, north side North Parish Drive, Southold, New
York. The findings of the Board are that the Board is in agree-
ment with the reasoning of the applicant.
The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance
would produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship;
the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all
properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and
in the same use district; and the variance will not change the
character.of the neighborhood, and will observe the spirit of
the Ordinance.
THEREFOP~E IT WAS RESOLVED, Dorothy J. Kopple, 19 Park
Avenue, Manhasset, New York, be GRANTED permission to divide
property with insufficient width and area,. north side North
Parish Drive, Southold, New York, as applied for.

Dear Margaret:
This is just a line to let you know that I am appealing to the
Town of Southold for a division of the property owned by me
and adjacent to your house.
As you know, a portion of the property is wild and a portion
has our house built on it. What I am seeking to do is to
divide the wild portion from the house portion.
I hate to be this formal but I am required by law to notify my
next door neighbor (who is you) of my intent.
The division will retain the two lots each with their present
100 foot road frontage. I have no plan to sell either of the
lots and intend to keep them in their present condition.
Sincerely,
