long as the property owner's consent is in
effect.
Said sign permit is terminable at once at
the direction of the Board of Appeals.
Purpose of sign must be directional in the
public interest as distinguished from adver-
· rising of products or services. Accordingly,
said sign shall bear only the following:'
(wording as submitted by applicant).
Said sign shall not exceed the size of
four feet by six feet (4' x.6').
Said sign shall not be erected prior to
receiving Suffolk County Planning Commission
approval, and after such approval said sign
shall not be erected prior to 30 days of
the event for which it is advertised, and
said sign shall be removed within seven
days after the date of said event adver-
tised, namely, Election Day.
Said sign shall not be less.than five feet
(5') from any property line; the bottom edge
of said sign shall not be less than four feet
(4') above ground.
Said sign may not be illuminated.
Said sign permit hereby authorized shall in
no event be in effect for more than three
years, except by approval of this ~
after receiving written request-~~~
and in accordance with all the conditions
listed herein.
After investigatio~n and inspection, the Board finds that
the applicant's request for a 4' x 6' off-premises directional
sign as submitted in its application is reasonable. The
Board agrees with the reasoning of the applicant-
The Board finds that strict application of the Ordinance
would produce practical difficulties or unnecessary hardship;
the hardship created is unique and would not be shared by all
properties alike in 'the' immediate vicinity of the property and
in the same use district; and the variance will not change the
character of the neighborhood and will observe 'the spirit of
the Ordinance.
