SEQRA DETERMINATION: The Zoning Board of Appeals has visited the property under consideration in this
application and determines that this review falls under the Type 11 category of the State's List of Actions,
without further requirements under SEQRA.
SUFFOLK COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE: This application was not required to be referred to the
Suffolk County Department of Planning under Suffolk County Administrative Code Sections A 14-14 to 23.
LWRP DETERMINATION: The relief, permit, or interpretation requested in this application is listed under the
Minor Actions exempt list and is not subject to review under Chapter 268.
PROPERTY FACTS/DESCRIPTION: Tax map Lot 18 is a non-conforming 14,995 square foot parcel located
in an R-40 Zoning District. Lot 18 is an unimproved lot which runs 100 feet along Daly Lane, 150 feet on the
West side, 100 feet on the North side and 150 feet on the East side. Lot 15 is a non-conforming 14,995 square
foot lot located in an R-40 Zoning District. Lot 15 is unimproved and runs 100 feet along Hoey Lane, 150 feet
on the East side, 100 feet on the South side, and 150 feet on the West side. Lot 19 is a non-conforming 14,995
square foot lot located in an R-40 Zoning District. Lot 19 is not improved and runs 100 feet along Daly Lane,
150 feet on the West side, 100 feet on the North side and 150 feet on the East side. Lot 14 is a 12,496 square
foot lot located in an R-40 Zoning District. All is shown on a surveys prepared by John T. Metzger,LLS, dated
June 22, 2016.
Tax map lot 17 is a non-conforming 24,993 square foot lot located in an R-40 zone. Lot 17 is unimproved and
runs 200 feet along Town Harbor Lane, 125 feet along Daly Lane, 200 feet on the East side, and 125 feet on the
North side. All is shown on a survey prepared by Nathan Taft Corwin, 111, LLS, dated October 1, 2013.
BASIS OF APPLICATION: Request for a Lot Waiver under Section 280-11 to unmerge a vacant land, having
an area of 14,995 square feet(SCTM No. 1000-66-1-18), from adjacent three vacant lots (SCTM Nos. 1000-66-
1-15, 17, & 19) measure 14,995 sq. ft., 24,993 sq. ft., and 14,995 sq. ft,; respectively. Combined, the lots total
69,978 square feet in area. The waiver of merger application is based on the Building Inspector's Notice of
Disapproval dated November 6, 2018, and pursuant to Section 280-IOA determining the properties have been
merged.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The property which is subject of these appeals was purchased in 1919 by
Thomas F. Daly and has been in family ownership for the succeeding three generations. In 1968 the families
Daly and Hoey obtained approval from the Southold Town Planning Board to sub-divide the property into 19
lots situated on three streets to be constructed off of Town Harbor Road in Southold. The three streets are Hoey
Lane, Thomas Street, and Daly Lane. The subdivision map was filed with the Suffolk County Clerk on October
21, 1968 as file number 5192. As a condition of its approval,the planning board required the owner to obtain a
performance Bond during the time the roads, drainage, public water supply lines, and other infrastructure was
being built. The installation occurred from 1968-1985.
In 1985 the Southold Town Planning Board confirmed that all required improvements had been completed to
Town officials' satisfaction. Furthermore, because of the delayed completion, this subdivision was not eligible
to be listed as an exempt subdivision from the merger law.
In addition to tax map lots 18, 15, 17, and 19 being merged together, the applicant, in a separate application is
requesting a waiver of merger for SCTM No. 1000-66-1-13 to unmerge from SCTM Nos. 1000-66-1-12 and 14.
Further, as part of the waiver of merger application the applicant is requesting to merge tax map lots 14 and 15
together, tax map lots I I and 12 would combine into one lot, and tax map lots 18 and 19 would combine into
one lot. Tax map lot# I I is an unimproved 12,496 square foot lot located on the comer of Thomas Street and
Daly Lane. It is a non-conforming lot located in an R-40 Zoning District . However, Lot No. I I was not listed
as merged in either notice of disapproval for application Nos. 7134 or 7135.
FINDINGS OF FACT/REASONS FOR BOARD ACTION:
The Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on this application on June 7, 2018, at which time written
and oral evidence were presented. Pursuant to § 280-11 the Applicant has submitted documentation, to the
satisfaction of the Board that these lots were merged consequent to the death of the owners. There have been no
transfers of ownership outside the family since the time merger was effected. Genevieve Daly and Kathryn
Hoey, were sister's in laws and owners of the subject lots between the years 1964 and 1989, during the time the
merger law was adopted in 1983. The current owners of the lots are their children and heirs of their estates as
follows:

Upon granting of the waiver of merger application the applicant is proposing for the combined lot I I and 12 to
be owned by Genevieve McGrath. Lot 13 will be owned by Marilyn Daly, Combined lot 14 and 15 will be
owned by Robert Daly Estate, Lot 17 will be owned by Marilyn Daly and combined lot 18 and 19 will be
owned by Joseph and Katheryn Hoey.
Pursuant to §280-11,the Zoning Board finds that
(1) The waiver would recognize a lot that is comparable in size to a majority of the improved lots in the
neighborhood because: the lots across the street on Town Harbor Road and Old Shipyard lane are comparable in
size to the lots the applicant is proposing to immerge. Further, the applicant is proposing to mitigate the
environmental impacts of the unmerging of the lots by voluntarily merging tax map lots 14 and 15 into a single
lot, tax map lots I I and 12 will combine into one lot, and tax map lots 18 and 19 would combine into one lot.
Therefore the applicants' waiver of merger application will create two lots that are 30,000 square feet in size,
one lot that is 24,992 square feet in size, one lot that is 12,496 square feet in size, and one lot that is 25,000
square feet in size. These proposed lots are more conforming to code than if the applicant were to unmerge all
of the lots. As per the notices of disapproval there are currently three building lots. Under the applicant's
proposed plan there will be five building lots. If the applicant were to unmerge all of the merged lots there
would be eight building lots that were part of the original sub-division.
(2) The waiver would recognize a lot that is vacant and has historically been treated and maintained as a
separate and independent residential lot since the date of its original creation because: the original subdivision
had planning board approval and the sub-division map was filed with the county. The merger law took effect in
July 1, 1983, but the applicant continued to go through the planning board process and received final planning
board approval in 1985 even though the town had implemented the merger law. The family was collectively
unaware of the effect of the merger law on the subdivision lots as each parcel was identified with individual tax
map numbers and received separate tax bills.
(3) The proposed waiver and recognition will not create an adverse impact on the physical or environmental
conditions in the neighborhood or district because: The applicant is proposing to mitigate the environmental
impacts of the immerging of the lots by proposing to merge tax map lots 14 and 15 together, tax map lots I I and
12 will combine into one lot, and tax map lots 18 and 19 will combine into one lot. Therefore, the waiver of
merger application will create two lots that are 30,000 square feet in size, one lot that is 24,992 square feet in
size, one lot that is 12,496 square feet in size, and one lot that is 25,000 square feet in size. These proposed lots
are more conforming to code than if the applicant were to unmerge all of the lots.
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD: In considering and balancing the above factors and pursuant to the Waiver
Provisions of the Town of Southold Merger Law, Section 280-11, motion was offered by Member Dantes,
seconded by Member Acampora, and duly carried to
GRANT the waiver of merger as applied for as shown on the survey prepared by John T. Metzger,
LLS, dated June 22, 2016 (lots 15,18, 19) and survey prepared by Nathan Taft Corwin, 111, LS, dated
October 1, 2013 for lot No. 17.
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. Proof that waiver of merger is effected by way of a deed from the applicant to a separate individual or
entity conveying title to that portion of the property known as tax map lots 11 and 12,tax map lot 13,
tax map lots 14 and 15,tax map lot 17, and tax map lots 18 and 19 be provided to the ZBA within 6

months of the date of this decision. Failure to comply with this condition will result in nullification of
the waiver of lot merger granted herein.
2. The applicant must voluntarily merge tax map lots 14 and 15 into a single lot, tax map lots I I and 12
must be combined into one lot, and tax map lots 18 and 19 must be combined into one lot.
3. Failure to comply with the above conditions will result in nullification of the waiver of lot merger
granted herein, as well as the waiver of merger granted in Appeal No. 7134 dated June 21, 2018.

I (we), Tax Lot 18: Katheryn M. Hoey request that the Zoning Board of Appeals waiver
the merger and recognize the original lot lines under the provisions of Article II, Sections
280-9, 280-10, 280-11 of the Southold Town Zoning Code, for the purpose to unmerge
Suffolk County Tax Map District 1000, Section 66 Block I Lot 18 containing 14,995
square feet located at Daly Street , Southold , to be unmerged from District
1000 Section 66 Block I—on Daly Lane Lot 15, 19 containing 14,995 square feet
15 located oii--Ho—ey LaneJ9 located on Daily Lane and Lot 17 containing 24,993
sq.ft. Located on Town, Harbor Lane. The property is located in the R-40
Residential Zone District.
The lot to be unmerged was originally created by deed dated 1968 as a filed map and
Lot 18 first deed out from the subdivision was in 1987, these were the first deeds
after the bond was released, is vacant, and has historically been treated and maintained
as a separate and independent residential lot since the date of its original creation.
The lot to be unmerged has not been transferred to an unrelated person or entity
since the time the merger was effected.
This application is an alternative to that provided for under other Town Code provisions
available for an area variance.
APPLICANT'S REASONS:
(1) The waiver would recognize a lot that is comparable in-size to a majority of the
improved lots in the neighborhood because:
The listed lots are all owned by different family members and were distributed in
accordance with the original developer's intent. The granting of the lots was to split
the property with !/2 of the land to the Daly family and '/2 of the land to the Hoey
family. The family split continues today. After 1987 when the first deed was
conveyed after the release of the bond, the lots have been single & separate.
The neighborhood contains several subdivisions that were created in the late 60's
and early 70's. The neighborhood is completely developed with less than 5 vacant
lots remaining in the neighborhood "south of the Main Road" in the area of
Founder's Landing Park District. This neighborhood was one of the earliest areas
with public water. The owners obtained 280A approval for the roads, completed the
roads to the Town specifications, installed the water lines and all other utilities. The
owners have agreed to combine tax lot parcel 18 & 19 in order to make the
combined lots more conforming to the zoning. Tax Lot 14 & 15, which will also be
combined, would be unmerged from a 29,990 sq.ft. Parcel. Until the Bond was
released and the Planning Board gave final approval, this subdivision was
grandfathered. Thereafter Tax Lot 18 was first deeded out after the bond was

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
(2) The waiver would recognize a lot that is vacant and has historically been treated and
maintained as a separate and independent residential lot since the date of its original
creation because:
Tax Lot 18 fronts Daly Lane. Each lot that is listed on the Notice of
Disapproval fronts a different street. Each lot "merged" to Lot 18 will be made
more nonconforming by multiple street frontages. The transfers within the family
have been for separate lots of the subdivision. The current owners obtained their
interest through deeds and death (estates). The period of merger occurred after the
bond was released and when the parcels were being split between the two families
(the Hogy & Daly famiW. The alternative relief, combining of certain lots, will not
only make the lots more conforming and be an environmental benefit but also the
families have given an enormous concession. The subdivision is self contained and
no change will occur to the character of the neighborhood or communi1y.
(3) The proposed waiver and recognition will not create an adverse impact on the
physical or environmental conditions in the neighborhood or district because: The
parcels would be developed with modest sized homes, similar to the homes within
the Founder's Landing neighborhood. This area is a mixture of family incomes,
seasonal and year round families. The lots have been issued separate tax bills and
been inventoried by the Town of Southold as single& separate buildable lots.
In order to make the immerged lots more conforming to current zoning, the subject
lots were combined. The waiver will recognize combined lots which are more than
% acre in size (29,990 sq[t), some of the largest lots in the neighborhood. The large
lots along Founder's Landing neighborhood are only 20,0000 sq.ft.

Re: Waiver of Merger applications(Daly et al)
Date: October 30, 2017
Common Set of Facts of each parcel seeking a waiver of merger:
Thomas F. Daly, (the first), purchased the land east of Town Harbor Lane in 1920. The house on Lot
36 had already been built in 1904.
In 1937 Thomas F. Daly Jr. built his homestead on Tax Lot 26 and the balance of the land conveyed
to his wife Genevieve T. Daly.
In 1955 Thomas F. Daly Jr.,Austin J. Daly, Kathryn D. Hoey split the undeveloped land east of Town
Harbor Lane, Southold.
Austin J. Daly transferred his interest to Thomas F. Daly Jr. and Kathryn D. Hoey
Thomas F. Daly Jr. and Kathryn D. Hoey began the subdivision process.
Some lots were"conveyed by deed" in the 1950's, either sold to non-family or to family members.
Homes were built on the described parcels.
The balance of the holdings (not conveyed by deed)was subdivided by a filed map known as
"Subdivision Map of Town Harbor Terrace" .
Thomas F. Daly Jr. Died on 1-6-1964 leaving Genevieve T. Daly, individually and executrix of his
estate.
Genevieve T. Daly(%owner)and Kathryn D. Hoey(%owner) (the surviving spouses)developed the
Subdivision Map of Town Harbor Terrace with 15 lots at Southold. The Southold Town Planning
Board approved the map and the map was filed on 10-21-1968 as Map#5192.
Under the procedures at the time, in June 1968, Genevieve T. Daly& Kathryn D. Hoey obtained 280A
approval for Tax 66-1-5 ( Lot No 3 of proposed Map of Town Harbor Terrace in order to obtain a
building permit for a new house)iZBA appeal#1181). That parcel is developed and not part of this
proceeding.
The owners obtained a performance bond for the required subdivision improvements (public water,
electric, roads and drainage).
The improvements were"signed off' by the Town in April 1985. The Town considered this
subdivision "grandfathered" based on the correspondence with the Planning Board and release of the
bond as late as April 1985. f
Between 1968 and 1985 Genevieve T. Daly and Kathryn D. Hoey,the owners and developers
retained the parcels because the roads and drainage had to be completed to the satisfaction of the
Superintendent of Highways. The performance bond remained in effect.
The subdivision lots were protected from up-zoning by the Planning Board extensions to the
subdivision approval and the performance bond.
After the bond is released,the subdivision Lots in 1986 begin to be conveyed within the family from
Genevieve T. Daly. She is only%owner of the separate parcels.
Thereafter the specific facts of each parcel are set forth in the individual Single&Separate title
search.

Factual Background
The property which is the subject of these appeals was purchased in 1919 by Thomas F.
Daly and has been in family ownership for the succeeding three generations.
In 1968, the families (Daly and Hoey) obtained approval from the Southold Town
Planning Board to subdivide the property into 19 lots situated on three streets to be
constructed off of Town Harbor Road in Southold. (Hoey Lane, Thomas Street, and Daly
Lane)
The subdivision map was filed with the Suffolk County Clerk on October 21, 1968 as file
number 5192. The lots all complied with the applicable zoning lot size regulations at the
time the map was filed. (The minimum lot size in the "A" District for Residential and
Agricultural uses was 1 00'xl 25')
As a condition of its approval, the Planning Board required the owner to obtain a
performance bond during the time the roads, drainage, and public water supply lines and
infrastructure were installed in the subdivision.
Substantial improvements were constructed. The performance bond was posted, as
required, but the improvements had to be paid out of pocket without the bond. The work
required was the grading and installation of the required roads, installation of curbs,
installation of drainage systems, as well as installation of public water supply
infrastructure and fire hydrants. The installation occurred in the period from 1968 to
1985 with multiple communications and inspections by the Highway Superintendent
(Raymond Dean), the Highway Committee members Martin Suter et.al., and Town
Inspector(Edward Bage, and later John Davis), finally with the approval of the Planning
Board.
During this period of time, the Planning Board extended its approval of the subdivision
map and the performance bond to permit the completion of the improvements.
In 1985, the Planning Board confirmed that all required improvements had been
completed to everyone's satisfaction, and the Board authorized the performance bond to
be released.
The property owners who developed this subdivision, Genevieve T. Daly and Katherine
D. Hoey, were sisters-in-laws of large extended families which have been coming to
Southold for generations. The husbands died after the subdivision was started and they
were left with the job of completing the subdivision.
The subdivision was intended to provide family members with their own parcels to be
built upon for the respective families.
Under the procedures at the time, in June 1968, Genevieve T. Daly& Katherine D. Hoey
obtained 280A approval for Tax Lot number 1000-66-1-5 (Lot No 3 of proposed Map of
Town Harbor Terrace) in order to obtain a building permit for a new house. (ZBA Appeal
#1181) The Building Department would not issue a building permit until the
improvements of the subdivision were constructed and approved .
Beginning in 1987, the Hoeys and Dalys began to transfer some of the subdivision lots
to family members as part of comprehensive estate planning and to provide family
members with their own properties.
In 2017 the Daly family came to me (Patricia C Moore)for deed transfers to members of
the family. They learned that the town's zoning had effected a merger of many of the
properties in the subdivision, and I advised that before additional deeds were prepared
which further compounded the untangling of the lots, a waiver of merger was required.
The process was started. New surveys of all the individual lots were obtained, title
searches were ordered, and applications were started.
The family was collectively unaware of the effect of the merger law on the subdivision
lots as each parcel was identified with individual tax map numbers and received
separate tax bills, and was, for family purposes of estate planning and equity among
family members, understood to be, and treated as separate properties.
The ownership interest in the parcels is now in the third generation.
The lots which are the subject of these appeals have been held by members of the Hoey
and Daly families from the time they were deemed merged.
An outline of each Tax Lot, intended ownership, current ownership, and years of
common ownership starting from the date the map was filed is herein attached.
The lots are comparable to the lots located within the communities in the surrounding
area.
The area south of Main Road (Route 25) in the hamlet of Southold was developed in
small lot subdivisions similar to the Town Harbor Terrace subdivision.
Lots of comparable sizes are found directly across the water body known as the
Hippodrome (See attached pages 131-132) showing the lot sizes of this similar
neighborhood.
The lots across the street on Town Harbor Road and Old Shipyard Lane. (See attached
pages C1-C3 ) are comparable as well.
The Hoey and Daly families have proposed merging tax map lot numbers 1000-66-1-11
and 12 into a single parcel which is 82 to 93 percent larger than the comparable lots in
the surrounding neighborhood (striped yellow on map)

132 percent larger than the comparable lots in the surrounding neighborhood (pink on
map)
tax lot numbers 1000-66-1-13 (Blue dots)will remain as a separate lot
Tax Lot 13:As shown on the attached exhibits is only 3% smaller than lots east of the
Hippodrome, which are improved and located on private roads (see BI & 132). Tax Lot
13 is only 9% smaller than west of Town Harbor Lane (C-1 to C3). However, extending
the comparable development on Old Shipyard and Founders Path, the individual
improved parcels on Old Shipyard and Founders Path are uniformly 75'x 125'
(9.375sq.ft.), except where lots were intentionally combined.
Tax lot number 1000-66-1-18 will be merged to Tax Lot 19 (Blue stripes). Making a
combined lot size of 24,992 sq.ft. It will be un-merged from Tax Map parcel 17 fronting
on Town Harbor Lane an was created by deed prior the subdivision of Town Harbor
Terrace.
The Hoey an.d Daly families have proposed merging tax map lot numbers 1000-66-1-18
and 19 into a single parcel which is 82 to 93 percent larger than the comparable lots in
the surrounding neighborhood

118 to 132 percent larger than the comparable lots in the surrounding neighborhood

The lots are vacant, are still zoned for residential use and have been treated as
separate lots by the family members from the date they were first subdivided.
The roads and subdivision improvements have been in place since they were first
constructed and have been maintained by the family over the years with the lots being treated
as single lots. Development of these properties, as proposed, is consistent with the surrounding
conditions of the neighborhood and poses no adverse environmental impact.

support of the application for waiver of merger of the Lots in accordance with the proposal that

As set forth in our application, for generations our family has enjoyed and relied on the
Lots as part of a farnily compound in Southold. My mother also owm.,%d is perm- resident

in 2003 to enjoy their retirement. My siblings and I frequent the compound throughout the year

Dear Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals,
My name is David M. Daly, Jr. and my great-grandfather Thomas F. Daly purchased the land
now known as The Daly Compound in 1919. My father, David M. Daly Sr., spent every summer
of his life at the family's compound before eventually retiring to his home on the compound with
my mother, Marilyn Daly, in 2004. My father passed away in 2013 and my mother currently
resides at 500 Daly Lane on the compound. I also have spent every summer of my life at the
family compound before my husband and I purchased our own home on Ackerly Pond Lane in
Southold in 2012 where we now reside full time.
We were extremely upset to learn about these mergers because our family had always treated the
undeveloped lots as separate, buildable lots that would be available for our own families. The
undeveloped lots have been a key part of estate planning and for our own future plans. My sister,
Kerry Ruggi, and her family also live full time in Southold. We both hope to move our families
back to the compound in the future.
On the advice of council, we have worked with the family to combine lots to create larger parcels
as part of our waiver of merger applications. The family lots are significantly larger than the
comparable lots in both the Beixedon and Town Harbor Lane adjacent neighborhoods. Our
intention is for the family, now in its fifth generation in Southold, to be able to use the
undeveloped lots for their enjoyment as originally planned and as our family continues to grow.
We respectfully request that the Zoning Board grant our waiver of merger application.

respectfully writing in support of the application for waiver of merger of the Lots in accordance
with the proposal that was submitted with the application.
For generations our family has enjoyed and relied on the Lots as part of a family
compound in Southold. My grandfather bought the property in 1919. My father spent summers
here since he was a boy and built his own home for his family in 1937. 1 have spent summers in
Southold since I was bom in 1937, and I built my own home in 1963-64 and have been sharing
Southold with my children since 1960. In 2004, 1 retired and Southold became my permanent
residence. Two of my six children have bought homes and settled in Southold. They could not
build on the families' undeveloped property when they were ready because of the merger. All of
my children and grandchildren currently enjoy Southold.
My father and his siblings always considered and treated the Lots as separate Lots, and
the Lots were conveyed into separate ownership in reliance on the Lots being separate. It
was only recently that we learned that, by operation of local law,the Lots had been automatically

merged prior to the conveyances to separate owners. We were extremely dismayed to learn this,
because our family has always considered and treated the Lots as separate Lots. We had divided
them up between the two second generation members and then each third generation family
divided the Lots among the members of their family.
As you can imagine this has not been an easy project as the Lots are not all exactly equal
in value or size. We have reapportioned the Lots again to try to come up with a proposal for the
un-merger of the Lots whilejoining certain of the Lots to create larger parcels. We were able to
do this in a manner that each of the interested families is willing to agree to that will allow us-to
continue to enjoy the Lots as part of the family compound for future generations.

Dear Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals:
I am the administrator of the Estate of my late father Robert M. Daly, which has an
ownership interest in Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17 (the "Lots") in the above-referenced
subdivision. I am also a beneficiary of the Estate, together with my siblings Kristen Daly,
Kathryn Daly, and Robert Daly, Jr. On behalf of the Estate, myself, and my siblings, I am
respectfully writing in support of the application for waiver of merger of the Lots in accordance
with the proposal that was submitted with the application.
As set forth in our application, for generations our family has enjoyed and relied on the
Lots as part of a family compound in Southold. The Estate also owns lot 26, which is across
from the Lots on Daly Lane, where we have a family home that is now shared among me and my
siblings. My siblings and I each have families of our own, and we all frequently spend time at
our family house on the compound throughout the year. The Lots that are the subject of the
waiver of merger application are undeveloped Lots behind our family home.
My father and his siblings always considered and treated the Lots as separate Lots (as did
the generation before them), and the Lots were conveyed into separate ownership in reliance on
the Lots being separate. It was only after my father's passing that we learned that, by operation
of local law, the Lots had been automatically merged prior to the conveyances to separate
owners. We were extremely dismayed to learn this, because our fa'mily has always considered
and treated the Lots as separate Lots. Indeed, upon my father's passing, for Estate
administration purposes we obtained separate appraisals for each of the Lots. We were relying
on separate Lots for purposes of distributing them out of the Estate and for other family planning
purposes.
On behalf of the Estate, I have worked with our family members that also own interests
in the Lots to come up with a proposal for the un-merger of the Lots while joining certain of the

Dear Sir or Madam:
Please find enclosed a copy of the Legal Notice describing your recent application. The Notice
will be published in the next issue of The Suffolk Times.
1) Before May 21't:
Please send the enclosed Legal Notice, with both a Cover Letter including your telephone
number and a copy of your Survey or Site Plan (filed with this application) which shows the
new construction area or other request, by CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT
REQUESTED, to all owners of property (tax map with property numbers enclosed), vacant or
improved, which a�uts and any property which is across from any public or private street.
Use the current owner name and addresses shown on the assessment rolls maintained by the
Southold Town Assessors' Office, or Real Property Office at the County Center, Riverhead. If
you know of another address for a neighbor, you may want to send the notice to that address as
well. If any letter is returned to you undeliverable, you are requested to make other attempts to
obtain a mailing address or to deliver the letter to the current owner, to the best of your abilily,
and to confirm how arrangements were made in either a written statement, or during the
hearing, providing the returned letter to us as soon as possible;
AND not later than May 29th: - Please either mail or deliver to our office your Affidavit o
Mailing'(form enclosed) with parcel numbers, names and addresses noted, along with the
green/white receipts postmarked by the Post Office. When the green signature cards are
