The validity of this permit's or may be sub~ect to the approval of other governmental or municipal
authorities. The Town accepts no responsibility in applying for or obtaining such approval. In the
vent that such approval is necessary, the holder of this permit shall not commence operations here-
under until such approval has been obtained in writing. The failure to obtain such other approval when
required shall subject this permit to immediate revoca[mn by the Trustees upon receipt by the
Trustees- of written notice from such other governmental or municipal authorities of its refusal or
disapproval.
The applicant does by the acceptance of this permit, assume all responsibility for ooeradons under-
taken pursuant to this permit, and shall take all precautions for the prevention of injuries to persons
and propertv resulting from such operations. B'y, such acceptance, the app [caot also agreeS to indemnio
f~ and save harmless the Town, and its officers, agents and err ployees from any and all claims arising
from operations under this permit and any and all acts or omissions of applicant, his agent and
employees.
The appl icant and the owner and occupants of the premises uoon which the operations authorized by
this permit are being conducted, do, by the acceptance of this permit, give consent to the Town, and
its officers and employees To enter u aCh the premises where such operations are being conducted To
make such insoections as the Town may deem necessa,w to insure that such operations are being con-
ducted in conformity with this permit,
This~ operation will not substantially:
A. Adversely affect the wetlands of the town.
B. Cause damage from erosion, turbidity or siltation.
C. Cause saltwater intrusion into the fresh water resources of the town,
D, Adversely affect fish, shellfish or other beneficial marine organisms, aquatic wildlife and ye§e-
tation or the natural habitat thereof.
_ E. 'increase the danger of flood and storm-tide damage.
F. Adversely affect navigation on tidal waters or the tidal flow of the tidal waters of the town.
6. Change the course of any channel or the natural movement or flow of any waters.
H. Weaken or undermine the lateral support of other lands in the vicinity. ' --
I. Otherwise adversely affect the health, safety a,nd general welfare of the people of the town.

Dear Mr. Schoenstein:
The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees during their
regular meeting held on June 25, 1987 regarding the above matter.
WHEREAS, Otto Schoenstein applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of
Southold, application dated April 21, 1987, and
WHEREAS said application was referred re the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WIIEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on June 25, 1987 at which time all interested
persons'were given an opportunity to be heard, and no objections were raised, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT
ESOLVED that Otto Schoenstein BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE
~ROVISIONS OF THE WETLAND ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD TO: Dredge approximately
35 cu,, yds. of silted sand and to add one piling and (2) 5' x 10' floats and to
place resultant spoil behind the bulkhead. Property is located on Gull Pond,
~reenport. A licensed survey showing the depths of the water is to be
taken prior to the dredging and to be submitted to the office for the file.

This permit will expire on June 25, 1989 if work has
not commenced by said date. There are two inspections required and ·
the Trustees are to be notified upon the completion of the work.
Prior to the issuance of said permit by the Clerk, the applicant
sh~lI file with the Clerk a certificate that he has public liability
insurance policies insuring against any liability whigh may arise
in the performance of the operations pursuant to such permit in such
amount as shall be fixed by the Trustees, which said policies shall
name the Town as a name insured, Please take further notice that
this declaration should not be considered a determination made for
any other department or agency which may also hare an application
pending for the same or similar project.
PLEASE RETURN TO THE BUILDING DEPT. FOR THE NEED OF ANY OTHER TOWN PERMITS
~HATMAY BE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.
PLEASE REMIT $10.00 FOR WETLAND INSPECTION FEES.

On a motion made by Ralph Condit, seconded by John Holzapfel,
it was
RESOLVED to table Wetland Application No. 521 of JOhn L Bagshaw
to construct a single family dwelling. The Council wishes
a better map and that the area be staked prior to making a
recommendation.

it was
RESOLVED to table Wetland Application NO. 522 of Michael S.
Gilliiund to constuct residence. The Council requests a better
location map.

On a motion made by Jeanne Martinet, seconded by Ralph Condit,
it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval
of Wetland Application No. 525 submitted by Gary Flanner Olsen
on behalf of Nicholas Ippolito to construct an attached garage
Eo existing house on bulkheaded property.
