REASON FOR APPEAL
Continu~J
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sar'., HARDSHIP becau~ the property was acquired as two separate parcels in 1969
and separately mortgaged. All of the parcels in Saltaire Estates are approximate-
ly the same size, and these two parcels are slightly larger than the surrounding
parcels. Applicant has a purchaser for both lots~ but the sale Will not go
through if the lots cannot be divided.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shaced by cji propertJes alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because these are two of the :~ew rema±nzng
lots in Saltaire Estates which ~re double lots due to merger.
3 Ti~e Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE D STRICT because all of the surrounding lots are comparable to
the proposed division.

Art. 16 Sec. 280A Subsection 3
4. PREVIOUS APPEAL A previous appeal (has) (has not) been made with respect to this decision
of the Building Inspector or with respect to this property.
Such appeal was ( ) request for a special permit
( ) request for a variance
and was made in Appeal No ................................. Dated ......................................................................
REASON FOR APPEAL
( ) A Variance to Section 280A Subsection 3
(X) A Vqr, iapcle to the.Zoning Ordinance is requested for reason that applicant wishes
to axvxae paroe£ ~nto two lots as shown on the filed map 64682, a cor~f of
( ) which is attached hereto, resulting in two l~ts with insufficient area and width.
Form ZB! (Continue on other side)
REASON FOR APPEAL Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sary HARDSHIP because ~.he property was aoquired as two separate parcels in 196~
and separately ~ortgaged. All of the parcel~ in Saltaire Pl~ates are approximate-
ly the s~e size, and these two parcels are slightly larger than the surrounding
parcels. Applicant has a purchaser for both lots, but t~ze sale will not go
through if the lots cannot be divided.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because these are two o£ the £ew remaining'
lots in Saltaire Estates which are double lots due to merger.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because all of the eu~roundin~ lore are co~parable to
the proposed division.
