A-2 Moved by Robert Keith. seconded by Stephen Angetl. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPI{OVAL of the request of PAUL RACANO 63-7-35 Permit No. 4217 to amend permit to construct a dock in a location northwest of the approved location. 1265 Calves Neck Road. Southotd Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. A-3 Moved by Stephen Angell. seconded by Robert Keith. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL WITH CONDITIONS of the request of BURNS. JOHN 70-6-31 Permit No. 4152 to amend per3nit to (1) add 4' x 3' stairs at the beginning of the fixed dock; (2) electric and water lines to the end of the fixed dock; (3) Reposition the proposed 6' x 20' floating dock in a north-south configuration. The Council recommends approval provided the applicant shorten the fixed dock so the new configuration does not exceed the original intrusion into the creek-, 755 Lighthouse Lane. Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. Moved by Bruce Loucka. seconded by Betty Wells. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROYAL of the request of BOPP, JOHN J., JR. 89-3-11.5 Permit No. 3795 [submitted by previous owner Roscoe Corey) to raise height of the dock and the ~walk to 3 1/2' above the ground level and the four 6" locust stakes will be ~'eplaced with 6" pressure treated poles, an additional 6' x 16' floating dock 12' away from current dock held by two 6-8" pressure treated poles, a 3' wide ramp connect the dock to the floating dock. 830 61earview Road, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. The Trustees revieweda proposal on this to reconsider amendments brought before the DEC in settlement of a violation on the site. TRUSTEE SMITH: Theycorrected that violation. TRUSTEE BREDF/4EYEK:~- Proposal is in keeping with the DEC permit Issue for the site. TRUSTEE. SMITH: They have a DEC permit, we looked at it, and I don't think we had any problem with it. TRUSTEE' BREDEMEYEE: I don't think anyone was happy, but I. think everyone came to realization the site is constrained and that there is not many options available. I believe the CAC consistently recommended disapproval. We sent it again July tst, to CAC. TRUSTEE KRUPSKI: I still can't see where this is necessary, there's no erosion the property. TRUSTEE SMITH: The bank keeps dropping off. TRUSTEE BREDEMEYER: He keeps loosing the bank, he's got unstable soil. I can't see holding this guy back anymore where it's a railroad retaining structure. New York 11971 SOUTItOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL To: F rom: Dated: Southold Town Trustees Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council May 22, 1990 Recommendation ,of Wetland Applications The following recommendations were made by the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council at its meeting held Thursday, May 17, 1990: On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by Margaret Feeney it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with conditions Wetland Application No. 3-5-90-79-4.5 submitted by Glenn E. Just/J.M.O on behalf of Harbor Lights Canal Association to maintenance dredge and place spoil on adjacent beach. The CAC approves provided the dredging is delayed until September to avoid the normal summer complications of dredging and also that the spoil is contained by haybales, etc. to avoid runoff into the cove side. Harbor Lights Drive, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by Bruce Loucka it was RESOVLED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees disapproval,of Wetland Application ~o. 3-6-90-1-~, submitted by J.M.O. Consulting on behalf of Wiliiam Riley' to construct a timber bu khead and backfill structure with clean San~. The CAC recommends disapproval because no need is shown and a dock is already in place. Cedar Point Drive West, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by Margaret Feeney, seconded by John Holzapfel, it was -RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with concerns of Wetland Application No. 3-2-90-59-1-21.6 submitted by the Land Use Company on behalf of Constantine Georgiopoulos to construct a single family dwelling, sanitary system, fill and driveway. The CAC approves but has grave concerns regarding the cesspool system. Lake Drive, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried.
