A-2 Moved by Robert Keith. seconded by Stephen Angell. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL of the request of PAUL RACANO 63-7-35 Permit No. 4217 to amend permit to construct a dock in a location northwest of the approved tocatlon. 1265 Calves Neck Road. Southotd Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. A-3 Moved by Stephen Angell. seconded by Robert Keith. it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL WITH CONDITIONS of the request of BURNS. JOHN 70-6-31 Permit No~ 4152 to amend permit to (1) add 4' x 3' stairs at the beginning of the fixed dock; (2) electric and water lines to the end of the fixed dock; (3) Reposition the proposed 6' x 20' floating dock in a north-south configuration. The Council recommends approval provided the applicant shorten the fixed dock so the new configuration does not exceed the original intrusion into the creek. 755 Lighthouse Lane. JR. 89-3-11,5 Permit No. 3795 [sul~mitted by previous owner Roscoe Corey) to raise height of the dock and the catwalk to 3 1/2' above the ground level and the four 6" locust stakes will be replaced with 6" pressure treated poles, an additional 6' x 16' floating dock 12' away from current dock held by two 6-8" pressure treated poles, a 3' wide ramp connect the dock to the floating dock. 830 clearview Road. TRUSTEE KRUPSKI: I'll make a motion to approve the application, with the following conditions: deck be located above the 3' contour, as per CAC recommendations, and a 35' vegetative buffer is maintained from MHW. Anyone here who wishes to speak against the applicant? The Trustees reviewed a proposal on this to reeonsider amendments brought before the DEC in settlement of a violation onthe site. TRUSteE SMITH: The~corrected that violation. ?RUShEr BREDEMEYE~: ~roposal is in keeping with the DEC permit · ssue for the site. TRUSTEE SMITH: They have a DEC permit, we looked at it, and I don't think we had any problem with it. TRUSTEE BREDEMEYER: I don't think anyone was happy, but I. think everyone came to realization the site is constralned and that there is ~ot many,options available. I believe the CAC consistently recommended disapproval. We Sent it again July let, to C~C. TRUSTEE KI%UPSKI: I still can't see where this is necessary, there's no erosion the property. TRUSTEE SMITH: The bank keeps dropping off. TRUSTEE BREDEMEYER: He keeps loosing the bank, he's got unstable soil. I can't see holding this guy back anlauore where it's a railroad retaining structure. ~e's tried to achieve a delicate balance. Any other comments for or against by the trustees? JusttJ.M.O on behalf of Harbor Lights Canal Association to maintenance dredge and place spoil on adjacent beach. The CAC approves provided the dredging is delayed until September to avoid the normal summer complications of dredging and also that the spoil is contained by haybales, etc. to avoid runoff into the cove side. Harbor Lights Drive, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by Bruce Loucka it was RESOVLED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees disapproval of Wetland Application No. 3-6-90-1-q submitted by J.M.O. Consulting on behalf of William Riley to construct a timber bu khead and backfill structure with clean Sand. The CAC recommends disapproval because no need is shown and a dock is already in place. Cedar Point Drive West, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by Margaret Feeney, seconded by John Holzapfel, it was -RESOLVED to recommend to the Southotd Town Trustees approval with concerns of Wetland Application No. 3-2-90-59-1-21.6 submitted by the Land Use Company on behalf of Constantine Georgiopoulos to construct a single family dwelling, sanitary system, fill and driveway. The CAC approves but has grave concerns regar.ding the cesspool system. Lake Drive, Southold Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried.
