Catalano Dated March 4, 1981 Dear Sir: This letter is designated as a notice to the Southold Town Board of Appeals in regard to the above request of Mr. Catalano's Petition for a Variance relief. The undersigned formally states that as co-owner of the attached property to Mr. Catalano, no objection is given to the Board in granting a relief for Victor Catalano's petition. The relief sought would in no way mar the property in question; or hinder or infringe upon the surrounding property.~ I therefore request that the Board grant the relief sought by the Petitioner. The above is a true and recorded statement. Attachment. Sworn to before me this 6th day of April 1981. D~aniel" P. 'Weber. DANIEL P. P~titioner TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS, TOWN OF S(~THOLD RH The Matter of a Petition of Victor Catalanos request for a variance to build an attached garage. This is a mb-standard lot. The Town already gives mb-standard lots a 25% reduction in requirements for additions. Yet, the Catalano's are asking for even further special favors from the Town. Where does the special treatment stop? How can the Board of Appeals justify a variance for an extension that will effect a Coney Island atmosphere. There are two (2) houses already very close on sub-stand~d lots with the possibility of a third building shortly. Any further '¥ariances" from the Town ~ould mock the value of the zoning law; a law originated to maintain property values and the quality of the Southold environment. I am strongly opposed to any further proposed variances for an addition. 267 of the Town Law and the Provisions of the Amended Code of the Town of Southold, the following matters 41 be held for pUblic he~gs by the Southoid Town Board of Ap- peals at the Seuthold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, NY on Thursday, At~ril 2, the existing housing on 'the west end of club (als~ known as labor camp), to be lo~ated on the south road to the East End of Fishers Island, more particularly designated as County Tax Map Item Nos. 1000-5-2-7.3, 1000-4-4-12, 1000-1-1-3.6, 1000-4-6-9. 7:,50 p.m. Application of David L.
