New York 11971 To: From: Da ted: Re: SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL Southold Town Trustees Southold Town CAC September 4, 1991 Recommendation of Wetland Applications The following recommendations were made by the CAC at its meeting held August 29, 1991: On a motion by John McCormick, seconded by Robert Keith, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval of Wetland Application NO.57-1-38.3 of Brick Cove Marina to enlarge and rebuild marina. The CAC recommends approval provided the applicant strictly adhere to the DEC Permit conditions. Also if any spartina is to be removed it should be relocated elsewhere on the property. Sage Road, Southold. Vote of Council: Ayes: All (E3ruce Loucka and Betty Wells absent) Motion carried. On a motion by Robert Keith, seconded by Stephen Angell, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval of Wetland Application No. 114-7-10.2 of Larry Blessinger to construct platform; stairway, walk; hinged ramp; and floats. R.O,W, off Westphalia Avenue, Mattituck Vote of Council: Ayes: All (Bruce Loucka and Betty Wells absent) Wetland Application No. 116-4-21 of Sara Barbetta and others was TABLED. The CAC has concerns regarding the beach dynamics: repositioning of je[tys and the effects on inlets. The CAC also has concerns with private individuals claiming town bottom.
