Dear Mr. Haje,
The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees at their
regular meeting of April 28, 1994:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees grant an
amendment to Permit 4217 to move the following northwest of
original survey: Construct a 4' X 72' fixed elevated walk (4'
above grade of marsh), a 3' X 16' hinged ramp, a 6' X 10' float
with a 6' X 30' outer float arranged in a "T" configuration. A
4' X 60+' path will be cut through brush on slope leading to
dock and surfaced with wood chips. Located 1265 Calves Neck
Road, Southold. SCTM ~63-7-35

Dear Mr. Haje:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
its regular meeting held on Thursday, July 29, 1993 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, En-Consultants on behalf of Paul Racano applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the
Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated June t0,
1993 and,
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations,
and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on Thursday, July 29, 1993 at which time all
interested persons were g~ven an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
Eh-Consultants on behalf of Paul Racano to construct a timber dock
consisting of a 4' X 72' fixed elevated (4' above grade of marsh)
walk; 3' X 16' hinged ramp; 6' X 10' float with 6' X 30' outer float
arranged in "T" configuration. A 4' wide X 60+/-' path will be cut
through brush on slope leading to dock and surfaced with wood chips.
Permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must
be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the
date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the
Trustees are to be notifiad upon completion of said project.
Permit will be issued upon payment of the following fees for work to
be done below Mean High Water Mark:

At the July 22 meeting of the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council. the following recommendations were adopted:
Moved by John Holzapfel. seconded by Robert Keith. it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees APPROVAL
WITH STIPULATIONS of Wetland Application of MATTHEW
MCKIERNAN 86-5-11.5 to construct a 1 1/2 ,story residence. All
material is to be redistributed on property to establish proper
grade. Construct a ~t' × 50' catwalk over marshland [to be minimum
3' over reeds in meadow) and install post to secure small boat.
The Council recommends approval provided the house is located at
least 75' from the wetlands. The Council recommends approval of the
dock.'provided i.t does not hinder navigation.

Motion carried.

RECOMMENDATION TO AMEND PERMITS

Moved by Stephen Angell. seconded by Jack Hagerty. it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees
DISAPPROVAL of the request of WILLIAM RILEY 90-1-4 Permit No. 4061 to
amend permit to install approximately 145' of rock revetment instead of the
approved dock.
The CAC disapproved the original permit and still feels the project is not
needed.

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of tha request of PAUL RACANO 63-?-35 Permit No. ~217 to amend permit to
construct a dock in a location northwest of the approved location.

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town E~oard of Trustees APPROVAL
WITH CONDITIONS of the request of BURNS. JOHN 70-6-31 Permit No. ~,152
[o amend permit to (1) add 4' x 3' stairs at the beginning of the fi×ed dock;
[2) electric and water lines to the end of the fi×ed dock; (3) Reposltion the
proposed 6' x 20' floating dock in a no~th-south configuration.
The Council recommends approval provided the applicant shorten the fixed
dock so the new configuration does not exceed the original intrusion into the
creek.

Moved by Bruce Loucka, seconded by Betty Wells, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
of the request of BOPP. JOHN J.. JR. 89-3-11.5 Permit No. 3795 Isubrnitted
by previous owner Roscoe Corey) to raise height of the dock and the catwalk
to 3 1/2' above the ground level and the four 6" locust stakes will be replaced
with 6" pressure treated poles, an additional 6~ x 16' floating dock 12' away
from current dock held by two 6-8" pressure treated poles, a 3' wide ramp
connect the dock to the floating dock.
