Box 2124 Greenport, NY 11944 Re: William J. ~otts, Jr. SCTM 980-t-4 Dear Mr. Costelto:: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on Noveraher 30, 1995 regarding the above matter: WREREAS, Costetlo Marine on behalf of WILLIAM J. POTTS,JR. applied to the Southotd Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland OrdiD~nce of the Town of Seuthold, application dated September 11,1995, and, WHEREAS, said application was Conservation Advisory Council recommendations, and referred to the Southotd Town for their findings and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on November 30, 1995, at which time all interested persons were given an oppertunit~ to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Beard members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted ccncerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard see forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grants a Wetland Permit to Costello Marine on behalf of WILLIA~ J. POTTS,JR. to reconstruct approx. 57' of bulkhead within t8" and 18" higher with one 12' return and backfill with approx. 30 c.¥. of clean fill. a~d, BE IT FUR'I'n~R RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed if not started. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
