Dear Mr. Stott:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during their regular meeting held on May 31, 1989 as follows:
WHEREAS the Town Trustees have conducted an on site inspection of the
subject property, Peeonzc Bay Blvd.
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees approve the request made by Richard
Stott for a waiver to construct an addition to single family dwelling
on above mentioned property.
Please return to the Building Department for a determination on
the need for any other permits which may be required for this project.

Please find enclosed a copy of the survey for the property of
Robert A. Potdevin on Peconic Bay Blvd. in Laurel. The survey
indicates a proposed addition and deck to the existing residence.
The addition is subject to a Zoning Board of Appeals decision
regarding the requested 15 ft. side yard. The seaward most
corner of the proposed addition is approximately 80 ft. from the
sxls%~n= bulkhead. No elevations were shown on the survey~ ~
received from Otto W. Van Tuyl & Son, but ~s you can see from the
photograph enclosed~ the existin~ residence and proposed addition
are well above the 10 ft. contour. The D.E.C. therefore has no-
3urzs~lc~zon regarding this proposal.
We therefore ask for the Board's approval, pending the Zoning
Board of Appeals' decision, of the proposed location for a living
room and deck addition as described on the enclosed site plan.
