Once the 3 existing deck is removed the condition of the framing under the deck can be assessed. If the contractor decides that the framing needs to be replaced, I would like to raise the framing of the deck on the existing pilings. The dock is currently nearly awash during high tides (see attached photo). --------------------------------- ---- ----- ----- -------- -- - --- ---------- ------ ----- -- ----- I am planning on using a local marine and dock contractor to do the re-decking(Z). They will obviously use the 4 standard, approved, materials the Town requires. The contractor who replaced the bulkhead in 2010 was supposed to have re-decked the dock but despite Note 1:i repeated calls never did the work. I was told that first t first needed to request that the dock be transferred to reflect that I am the current owner of the property. I would like to request that the permit for the dock at 375 Lighthouse Lane, Southold be transferred from my deceased father's name, William Pollert to my name, Frederick Pollert. The Trustees issued permit #1440 for the dock (copy attached) on July 2, 1980. Enclosed is a check in the amount of $50 for the processing of the name change o~ the permit.
