The Board of Trustees reviewed the proposed plans for a demolition of existing structures and construction of new, and visited the site on two separate occasions. The response to Mr. Consiglio's request for comments on said proposed project by the Board is the following: Having visited the site on May 9, 2018, and again on August 7, 2018, and a review of the proposed project plans by Barnes Coy Architects, dated July 14, 2018 for the McGowan property located at 13350 New Suffolk Avenue,Cutchogue, SCTM#1000-116-6-19.2, the Board of Trustees are not favoring the project as submitted. The Board has a concern of any activity within the wetland/dune areas to the west. Due to the nature of the property, the Board of Trustees are not in favor of any increase to the current size of the existing dwelling. There is also a concern as to where the septic system is currently located and where it is being proposed. Being that this is a Pre-Submission Inspection, if you wish to submit a Wetland Permit Application for this project,the Board of Trustees would render a decision.
