The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees at their
regular meeting of December 17, 1992:
Resolved that the Southotd Town Board of Trustees grant a waiver
to Mr. Samuel E. Peters to construct a 5' high split rail fence
as noted in file and that such fence be placed on property
line. Located Little Neck and Strohson Roads~ Cutchogue.

Members of the Board:
I respecfully request a waiver from the Board of Tow~ Trustees to
locate a fence on my property in the proximity of wetlands. The
purpose of the fence is to protect the wetlands.
Ky property is bounded on the North side by Strohson Road and on the
West side by Little Neck Road. At the end of Little Neck Road is a
public boat launching ramp which gives pleasure boaters access to
Eugene's Creek and Peconic Bay. Increasingly, vehicles towing boat
trailers are turning at the end of the road by driving up on the edge
of the wetlands. This is having an erosive effect on the edge of the
wetlands. I believe the practive can be stopped by the simple
installation of a fence.
If a waiver is granted I plan to install an approximately five foot
high split rail fence. The fence will extend from the end of tb~zwild
rose bushes down to approxin~tely abreast of the barrier marking the
end of Little Neck Road. The fence will lie between one and two feet
inside the property line. It's location is sketched on the enclosed
copy of the survey of my property.
Enclosed is a check for $ 35.00 covering the administrative fee for
