Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 March 31, 1992 Eh-Consultants 1329 North Sea Road Southampton~ NY 11968 RE: Antonio Perez - Coastal Erosion SCTM %t000-17-2-1.4 Dear Mr. Maje: This office has reviewed the licensed land survey of Peconic Surveyors dated January 17~ 1992 and finds that the proposed home as depicted is non-jurisdictional with respect to the Town Coastal Erosion Hazard Area and tidal provisions of our wetland ordinance because: 1. It is located at least 50' (feet) landward~0f the landward most natural resources feature~ the beach; there being no conventional bluff and all construction is on slopes of less than 1:3o 2. Ail activities are landward of the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area line as represented on the licensed survey. 3. This project is greater than 75' to the tidal wetlands of Long Island Sound and is therefore deemed non-jurisdictional with respect to the recently added section of Chapter 97 "Sounds u. No activity is permitted seaward of the Coastal ErosionHazard Area line and this project may require additional determinations of the building department with respect to FEMA, the zoning ordinance and other matters.
